Brunch in a Minute ⏰:featuring the Cheeky Tiki Brunch at Trader Vics, Hilton JBR

The food is a Polynesian-Inspired buffet of fresh salads, seafood, a carvery and a live rice & noodles station. Starters are served to the table, and a game of thrones “shame” bell that announces the arrival of a giant tuna fish that is ceremonially cartier by 2 chefs and then filleted by the chef who had been capably frying fresh red mullet, sea bream and barracuda all afternoon.
For drinks, Vics is the Home of the Original Mai Tai®, and the infamously lethal Tiki Puka Puka which are both served alongside self serve bottles of wine, flavoured beefeater gins, vodka and Bacardi.
The interior is authentically decorated with Canoes from the Taiwanese Orchid Island hang from the ceiling, tribal masks from Papua New Guinea adorning the walls, fishing net orbs from Japan hover above tables, and each and every table is watched over by a hand-carved and one-of-a-kind Tiki statue. There’s even an original painting by the namesake himself, Trader Vic, behind the bar. Outdoor seating overlooks the pool and the Arabian Gulf. The floral and wooden designs go with the colourful lays that each bruncher is given on arrival and Latin music is played at intervals by the 4 piece band.
