Mekong Pan-Asian Brunch
Explore Delightful Pan-Asian Cuisine with a variety of delicious cuisines as you are taken on a journey through the flavours and spices of Thailand, China and Vietnam.
Starters begin with a selection of Dim Sum, Freshly ground Thai Papaya Salad, Duck Pancake, Chicken Satay served on a smoking grill, Vietnamese Spring Roll, spicy prawn and individual Tom Yum Soup served as a pallete cleanser. We requested all of the dishes “Ped Ped Mak” or Thai Spicy and they did not disappoint!
Main dishes are luckily but hugely stodgy and the sharing portions enable you to sample from a variety of menu items including Deep Fried Sea Bream, Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, hi Ken Noodles, Gaeng Ped Goong (Thai Ted Curry with Prawns), Thai Mixed Vegetables and two servings of white and black glutinous rice.
Desserts are served in a theatrical bird cage like an Asian High Tea with dry ice and a selection of mini sweet endings including Mango Sticky rice, Coconut & Pineapple Roulade served inside a coconut shell, and a Mango & Passion fruit Creme Brûlée.
Inside and out, the restaurant features Contemporary Far-Eastern decor that sets the stage for an exotic feast for the senses, including a majestic elephant fountain that guards the front entrance, a raised central dining area surrounded by an indoor water stream, and an iconic set of Rickshaw tables out on the terrace under the lanterns.
Every Friday Noon-3pm
AED 295 with soft drinks,
AED 395 with house beverages
AED 495 with sparkling
AED 199 12 to 18 year olds (under 12s not permitted)
