Hidden Picnic: By LoveParties

BRUNCH IN A MINUTE: it’s one of the most stunning locations in Dubai thanks to its huge terrace (which will soon be getting much larger - watch this space), luscious urban-jungle greenery and spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa.

@hiddenbrunch by @lovepartiesgroup have revamped their raucuous Friday Brunch with a brand new offering that featured touches of their infamous revelry all within the constraints of the new regulations.

Like a British summer picnic (with much better weather) upon arrival, you receive a welcome cocktail and a large hamper full to the brim with crudités, crisps with dips, burrata, Prawn Cocktail, cucumber & cream cheese, coronation chicken & cheese and brandy on pickle sandwiches plus salads, steamed boa buns with smoked duck and chicken Cumberland sausage rolls (a favourite!).
Ladies flocked to the floral headgear in keeping with the theme.

You then choose one of the freshly cooked mains from the BBQ grill including double cooked half chicken with rosemary and garlic oil, marinated salmon with dill, mustard and watercress or roast beef prime rib with horseradish cream. All mains are served with a range of sauces and veggies from the grill and after a filling first course, are played attractively and are by no means overbearing.

We were also really impressed with the selection of cocktails including Espresso Martini’s for those on the bubbly package. The food at previous incarnations had a naturally Asian slant to it being housed in Tesoro, however the new picnic service and order to the table style of the mains gives the brunch a more complete feel to it.
