Chef Michael Mina offers diners ‘Thursday Night Blues Brunch' at Four Seasons Hotel in DIFC   The timeless American eatery at the Four Seasons Hotel is one of the latest restaurants to open in DIFC's and is set to be at the forefront of Dubai's burgeoning blues scene, with its new ‘Thursday Night Blues Brunch' offering guests live music, cleverly crafted cocktails and classic American cuisine.   THE FOOD   Chef/Owner Michael Mina boasts accolades including the James Beard Foundation's "Who's Who of Food and Beverage 2013", Bon Appétit Chef of the Year, Food Arts Silver Spoon Award Winner, San Francisco Magazine Chef of the Year, and International Food and Beverage Forum's Restaurateur of the Year. The concept, in keeping with customary style, will present sharing platters to be enjoyed by the stylish evening crowd that the diner attracts. Guests choose 3 starters and 3 main courses to be shared family style at the table. Firm favourites include the Kansas City Lamb Ribs with homemade bread, butter pickles and apple slaw and New Orleans Style Jambalaya including wild caught prawns, chicken andouille sausage and lobster sofrito. To finish, Strawberry Shortcake and S'mores which come with their very own fire cauldron are must haves on the menu.   THE DRINK   The bar serves a selection of imaginative cocktails and mocktails to complement the cuisine, all inspired by American places, culture and history: Boston Tea Party, a tribute to the historical event, harmoniously blends Earl Grey tea and the American spirit Bourbon; Miami Nights, celebrates Florida's world renowned oranges with a blend of two orange liquors to create a cocktail as cool as a hot Miami night; Tutti Frutti, inspired by the hit song of Little Richard, is fruity and refreshing for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.   THE OTHER STUFF   With plush booths, a signature 1950's jukebox, and a live swing band headed up by New York songstress Fatima Brown, the evening has all of the ingredients to put the "swing" into the start of your weekend. Brown, whose voice and energy define the heartache of Blues, and the hope of Gospel bring the diner, its al fresco terrace and open kitchen to life and transport guests to the heart of America, the home of Blues!   Guests can enjoy the ‘Thursday Night Blues Brunch' offering every Thursday evening, with food and drink for up to 3 hours once the party is seated. The diner will open from 7pm until 1am and the live swing band will perform three scintillating sets from 8.30pm - 11.00pm.
