LUNCH IN A MINUTE ⏰: Featuring The Best of Italian and Japanese Cuisine at Onda Nami - The indoor restaurant that merges into a sprawling outdoor terrace that flows down to the beach club with its stunning views out to Bluewater’s at super venue @blabladubai.
The Friday lunch package isn’t yet widely advertised so it’s one for those in the “know” or who have luckily stumbled upon the package after checking out the beach or the neighbouring monster tent next door.
Lunch starts with an 8 dish starter selection that is an endless procession of goodies that include 2 types of Edamame, Japanese Spinich Salad, Crispy Rice Cake with Avocado, Bruschetta, Burrata, Arancini filled with Braised Brisket, California Sushi Rolls and Chicken Gyoza with Ponzu & Ito Togarashi. The selection is commendable and the quality was an unexpected surprise. Some of the dishes were made with real finesse and packed with flavour.
Luckily, the 6 dishes listed for main courses would not all come out as we were stuffed from the starters and you will only have to choose one of:
Canelloni with Spinach
Seafood Paccheri with Clams, Mussels, Prawns
Samon with Olives & Sauteed Broccolini
Chicken Katsu Kare with Rice
Angus BBQ Short Ribs with Sweet Potato Fries, or
Spicy Pepperoni Pizza
Luckily the mains are sensibly portioned and we were delighted with our Salmon and Katsu choices ✅
Desserts are a Chefs selection of Red Velvet, Profiteroles and Bread Pudding.
Cocktails include Sangria and Soju Fruity Shots with Heinekin Bottles and other spirits available alongside Red, White & Rose Wine.
After Brunch head to the Tent next door to try out one of the 20 bars all under one roof. ⛺️
